Difference analysis between crystalline silicon battery and thin film battery
1. Introduction of crystalline silicon components (polysilicon) Polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules are composed of glass, EVA, solar cells, backplanes and solar panels (as shown in Figure 2). Due to the reasonable price and good performance of polysilicon modules, they have a relatively large share in the market. At present, the conversion efficiency of polycrystalline silicon modules is about 15%, which is slightly lower than that of monocrystalline silicon products, but higher than that of amorphous silicon modules. Polycrystalline silicon cells have no photodegradation effect, and slight material quality differences will not cause solar cells to be affected. However, there is a certain difference in the single-chip power of polycrystalline silicon cells, and there is a certain difference in the power of modules with the same area (usually there is a difference of 20Wp-30Wp). Another advantage of polycrystalline silicon cells is that high and stable power generation performance can be obtained per unit area. The current nominal life of polysilicon modules is 25 years.

What to do if the glass of the solar panel is broken
1. The impact of glass breakage of solar panels The broken glass of the solar panel will have a certain impact on the use. The key is to see if the battery below is broken. If the battery is also cracked, it needs to be replaced. Tempered glass has a maintenance effect on the battery below. If it is broken, it will lead to a decrease in light transmittance and a lack of output power. After a long time, the battery will be oxidized, and the subsequent efficiency drop will fluctuate greatly. Second, the replacement of solar panel glass The glass on the solar panel is a low-iron tempered glass, also known as white glass, with a common thickness of about 3.2 mm, and a light transmittance of more than 90% in the wavelength range (320-1100NM) of the solar cell spectral response. 1200NM infrared light has higher reflectivity. The solar panel glass has the advantages of being resistant to ultraviolet radiation and ensuring that the light transmittance does not decrease.
